Native Canadian Inukshuk Bookmarks LO-64
Unique handmade bookmarks are handcrafted exclusively by the artisans of Copper Reflections in this fabulous Native Inukshuk design which was the symbol of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada in 2010. Inukshuk pronounced “Ee-nook-shook” is the Inuit word meaning “In the Image of Man”. Groups of stacked stones usually in human form have been used by the people of the North for thousands of years. Built along treeless horizons, these landmarks helped travelers navigate on land and water. These beacons of the North have now been adapted as symbols of friendship, reminding us that we all depend on one another.
