Roadrunner Pill Box

Decorative pill box copper artwork is handmade, silver plated and diamond cut by the skilled artisans of Copper Reflections in this Southwestern American desert scene and roadrunner design. In Southwest Indian legends, roadrunners are notable for their speed, bravery and endurance. The Hopi and other Pueblo tribes believed that roadrunners were medicine birds and could protect against evil spirits. Their unusual X-shaped footprints are used as sacred symbols to ward off evil and have been found in the rock art of ancestral Southwestern tribes.
